    Travel Destination: Coron, Palawan, Philippines

Throwback :Travel Destination: Coron, Palawan, Philippines Sept 2011

Yes, i am a tourist to my own Country :).I have been hearing beautiful comments  about this place from one of our Peace Corp Volunteer from US , not exactly in Coron but Palawan.
I was in grade school then so i was like, okey! .

What can we see in Palawan? Beaches! Beautiful white sand beaches. I live in a Mountainous area so beach is something that always amazes me. It’s not like i’ve never been to the beach , our place is
two hours drive to the beach and it’s always our destination during New Year but the beaches in
Palawan is the best i’ve ever been so far but if you are in a budget ,doesn’t have the luxury of time
and near Baguio City, you can also go to Ilocos which is like 4 hours drive ,  they do  have beautiful white sand beaches.

"The aquatic views of a dozen sunken Japanese warships at depths between 10 and 40 metres (33 and 130 ft) off Coron Island are making Coron and its neighboring municipalities a popular diving destination,[3] listed in Forbes Traveler Magazine’s top 10 bestscuba diving sites in the world."

There are lots of videos on Youtube if you want to see videos about Palawan.
It’s nice to experience it though, so these are some of my pictures:

I can't wait for the plane to hit the ground!
    Edible Seaweed

    Twin lake lagoon

It was called  twin lake lagoon because there is another lake on the other side of this lagoon, it's kinda hidden. We have two options to reach the other lake, either you climb the rocks or you submerge into the water passing through the rocks. I don't know how to swim so I climbed the rocks hehe

    Mt. Tapyas with 700 steps

the pigs name is Shalani. I blocked Willie on the background

    KAYANGAN LAKE

Kalanggaman Island (not sure of the spelling ) :D

    Maquinit Hot spring!

    Malcapuya Island

Given the chance, i will go back to Coron and experience paradise, here's a link to get to know more about Coron
